There’s been plenty of silence about the Volkswagen scandal lately. So, what happened? An analysis claims VW might have put brakes on the European Market, as October marks a break in the ascending trend.

I was actually wondering when this will happen: a car vending machine. It obviously comes from an online retailer that now allows their customers enjoy this experience. It looks kind of amazing:

Facebook and the chicken

Facebook, the largest social network. Again? Well, yes, again. Facebook just acquired instant messaging application WhatsApp and everybody is talking about it. Facebook paid $19 billion for WhatsApp and this is the news to create the hype. 19, yes. Yes, billion.

Breathe in breathe out it’s just another day, read your news-feed on Facebook.  Facebook bought WhatsApp for $19 billion. Outrageous. Share the news with your friends on a WhatsApp group. All agree you should find another instant messaging app.  Meh, the world, you should just enjoy your coffee, maybe post a picture of it on Instagram. Facebook – the company owns Facebook, Instagram and now WhatsApp and also just released Paper, another mobile app that some claim to be something fun to use and getting some quite awesome pr and endorsements. Is it really time for social marketing automation?

Remember I was telling any marketer can base their forecasts on social media? I was also telling you the Google’s shot at Facebook will be integrating. You’ve been probably seen the latest change Google made: everything is based on tiles, they’ve replaced Google Talk with Hangouts on your phone, Google Plus has a design based on tiles. Consequence? No, there are no coincidences. Google is finally integrating. Besides a better user experience, it will offer marketers more information on their targets and more segmentation tools.

Google tot vrea de ceva vreme sa-l detroneze pe Facebook. Pe vremea cand Facebook se juca in nisip deja Google era cel mai popular motor de cautare. Facebook are genu’ ala de poveste, doar s-a facut si film. Cand Sergey Brin si Larry Page au fondat Google aveau 25 de ani. Cand Mark Zuckerberg a inceput proiectul The Facebook, Mark avea 20 de ani. Google era deja popular (traducem popularitatea si cu valoare in piata) cand Facebook i-a explodat in fata. De atunci, Google se tot chinuie sa faca un Facebook al lui. Google a lansat ieri Google +.
