Volkswagen said it has fixed 90% of the cars in Europe. Out of the 11 million diesel engines affected, 8 million were in Europe, which means most of it was fixed. However, there’s one country on this planet that does not really care about pollution, and where VW’s sales rose 1.8%, the biggest market for Volkswagen. Even so, remember VW stopped investing in the development in China.

Digital, digital everywhere. We have digital platforms, we have digital organizations, we have digital groups, you know what we don’t really have: digital countries, digital citizenship, most of national administration feel a bit outdated in comparison to what our digital bubbles tell us. Australia, however, is considering a cloud based digital passport. 

I’m getting a bit confused by the sharing economy: Uber is announcing a new service: they want to become a logistics company, they want to transport everything, not just people. At this moment we have two scenarios. We stop associating Uber with the sharing economy and we call it part of the on demand economy, either we accept that slowely we might be moving to a form of democrating communism.

Speaking of collaborative, companies are also using the new “social” component of anything to their own benefit. For example Indiegogo is now used as a test platform, while Lenovo is crowd sourcing its next video game.
